President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has disclosed a new scenario by the US and the illegal Zionist entity, saying they are involved in a new psychological warfare against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to IRNA, while addressing the closing ceremony of the National Youth Festival yesterday on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Immortal Youth of Karbala, Hazrat Ali Akbar (PBUH), the son of Imam Husain (PBUH), he said “Iran’s enemies, in collaboration with Israel, are planning to attack one or two Arab states that are our friends, for creating an atmosphere of fear on the assumption of disturbing Iran's decision-making."

Dr. Ahmadinejad was confident of the defeat of the new intricate plot by the Zionists, the US, and others, who will take all their dreams to their graves.

He expressed regret that Russia under President Dmitry Medvedev has become a part of the anti-Iran front.

He said: “Recent remarks by Medvedev in fact reveal the scenario and we regret that he has become the spokesperson for the project and the plot hatched by Iran’s enemies.”

However, the Iranian president said Tehran is still interested in ties with Moscow, particularly in scientific fields.

On the Islamic Republic's scientific progress, he said, “Iran was scheduled to send a man into space in 2025, but in response to the threats and the illegal UN Security Council resolutions against us, and in accordance with a cabinet ratification, we would be speeding up this project by five years, and God Willing will launch a manned space flight in 2020.”
